Objectives:
- · The Student will be able to recall key terms from chemistry, including: atom, molecule, proton, neutron, ion, bond, etc.
- · The student will describe the concept of reaction energies and how catalysts function.
- · The student will become familiar with the basic kinds of organic molecules and how a semi-permeable membrane functions.
- · The student will be able to describe the molecular distinctions of the four major kinds of biomolecules and their function in living things.
- · The student will describe the inter-relationships of proteins and nucleic acids, specifically with regard to protein synthesis and DNA replication
